Walter Trout
Great artists take the pulse of their times. Across a half-century as a sharp-eyed observer and uncompromising songwriter, Walter Trout has never told his audience what to think or feel. But in today’s fractured world, his new album Sign Of The Times emerges as both a primal scream and a necessary release. “I wanted to convey the anger and angst in the world,” he explains. “Writing these songs is therapy — not just about what’s happening out there, but how it affects you inside.” Following the success of 2024’s Broken, the new material came quickly, driven by urgent riffs and shaped once again with Marie Trout, whose lyrics bring clarity and impact. “We had so many ideas — it could have been a triple album,” he recalls. Recorded in Los Angeles with his longtime band, Sign Of The Times stands as one of the toughest, most hard-hitting records of his career. “We had heavy things to talk about,” says Trout. “So musically, we went all in.”

Me and That Man
Formed by Nergal, frontman of the Polish black metal band Behemoth, Me And That Man explores a darker, more introspective side of his artistry. Blending dark folk, country and gothic blues, the project emerged in 2017 with Songs of Love and Death, created alongside John Porter. Conceived as an emotional outlet beyond the intensity of black metal, the music channels themes of struggle and reflection through a raw, stripped-back sound. The project expanded with New Man, New Songs, Same Shit Vol. 1 (2020) and Vol. 2 (2021), featuring a wide range of guest artists. With its cinematic atmosphere and genre-crossing approach, Me And That Man stands apart as a bold and evolving musical identity.

Dog & Bone
Dog & Bone (D&B) is a Luxembourgish rock/blues band founded in 2017. With solid experience in rock, blues, and pop, the musicians of D&B strive to create music open to various influences and to establish a strong connection with their audience, symbolized by their energetic “howling dogs” performances.
Their initial repertoire included covers spanning blues, jazz, and rock & roll, inspired by artists such as B.B. King, John Mayer, and the Rolling Stones. Since early 2020, D&B has been focusing on their own compositions while continuing to revisit classics.
The band recorded their first professional track at Studio UNISON in early 2020, which was featured on a compilation of Luxembourgish bands produced by the Blues Club Luxembourg and released at the end of 2020.
The name Dog & Bone comes from Cockney slang, meaning “telephone.”

Sneaky Pete

Empty Arms Bluesband
Founded in 2023, this new blues band plays a mix of blues and blues rock, covering songs by artists such as Albert King, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Robben Ford, Joe Bonamassa, Lucky Peterson, and more. Here is their own presentation:
You might be thinking, “Another blues band in Luxembourg?” Yes, we are a brand-new blues band, but we’re proud to feature a line-up of seasoned musicians from the Luxembourg music scene, complemented by fresh talent!
David Parisi, son of the established musician Luca Parisi, captivates audiences with his guitar skills, seamlessly blending soulful melodies with fiery rock solos. Talent clearly runs in the family! Joining him is Dan Cremmer, who has played bass and guitar in various bands but is now stepping up to take on vocal duties, adding a new dynamic to our sound. Karel Lambert, a stalwart of Luxembourg’s music scene, lays down the grooves and backbeats that keep our music pulsing. And of course, Luca Parisi, our bassist, ensures that every song is intricately crafted and compelling.
Together, we are excited to bring a fresh wave of energy to the blues scene with our original compositions alongside powerful blues-rock covers.
We can’t wait to see you at our shows!

Bombino
Born in 1980 in the Tuareg encampment of Tidene, near Agadez in Niger, Bombino (Goumour Almoctar) grew up amid political unrest, fleeing with his family to Algeria in 1990. Self-taught on guitar and inspired by artists like Jimi Hendrix, Dire Straits and Ali Farka Touré, he returned to Agadez seven years later and began his professional music career. As conflict escalated in 2007, he went into exile in Burkina Faso, where filmmaker Ron Wyman helped him record Agadez (2011), a breakthrough album praised internationally. His follow-up Nomad (2013), produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, cemented his global reputation, while Azel introduced his “Tuareggae” sound blending desert blues with reggae influences. Deran (2018) earned worldwide acclaim and a historic Grammy nomination — the first ever for an artist from Niger. His later release, Live In Amsterdam (2020), captures the power of his performances and pays tribute to his late bandmate Illias Mohamed. Through it all, Bombino continues his mission: sharing the spirit and beauty of Tuareg culture with audiences worldwide.

Climax Blues Band
Founded in the late 1960s, Climax Blues Band has continued to evolve while staying true to its roots. Longtime members including keyboardist George Glover and guitarist Lester Hunt helped shape the band’s sound through decades of touring across the UK, Europe and the US, until the passing of founder Colin Cooper in 2008. Honouring his wish for the band to continue, a new chapter began with new members bringing fresh energy while respecting the band’s legacy. The release of Security Alert (2014) marked this transition, followed by Hands Of Time (2019), a critically acclaimed album blending blues, funk and soul influences. Today, the band moves forward with renewed creativity, working on new material while keeping their signature groove alive.

His melodies and lyrics are characterized by simplicity, aiming to be catchy and memorable. Despite this well-crafted simplicity, DAN’ CHA’ places great emphasis on melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic diversity. His thoughtful lyrics address everyday topics as well as social and societal issues.
Homages to blues icons such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and B.B. King are unmistakable in his repertoire. His band, the b.a.d. SLANG, elevates his music to a higher level.

Hunneg-Strëpp
Hunneg-Strëpp is a brass band from Luxembourg that has been shaking up stages big and small since day one. With over 100 shows under their belt, they’ve earned a reputation for turning any venue – from village squares to major festival stages – into a full-blown party. Their mix of original compositions and inventive covers always comes with their own signature twist: energetic, surprising, and made to get people moving.
Over the years, they’ve brought their explosive live show to iconic venues like Rockhal, Atelier, and Rotondes, lit up festivals such as e-Lake, and even shared the stage with international acts like NAFT (Belgium) and Fäaschtbänkler (Switzerland) – proving they’re just as comfortable in front of thousands as they are in more intimate settings.
In 2024, they were awarded the Luxembourgish Music Prize, a recognition of their creativity and impact on the national music scene. That same year, they pulled off their biggest project yet: Hunneg-Strëpp & Friends Vol. 2 at Kulturfabrik – a sold-out show that brought together friends and guest artists for a one-night-only celebration of collaboration, community, and the band’s unique ability to bridge genres and generations.
Described as “a joyful collective that knows how to bring people together – on and off stage” (RTL) and as “proof that brass band music is alive, fresh, and full of surprises” (De Journal), Hunneg-Strëpp brings something different to every event – from open-air festivals to urban stages, and everything in between.
