Hunneg-Strëpp is a brass band from Luxembourg that has been shaking up stages big and small since day one. With over 100 shows under their belt, they’ve earned a reputation for turning any venue – from village squares to major festival stages – into a full-blown party. Their mix of original compositions and inventive covers always comes with their own signature twist: energetic, surprising, and made to get people moving. Over the years, they’ve brought their explosive live show to iconic venues like Rockhal, Atelier, and Rotondes, lit up festivals such as e-Lake, and even shared the stage with international acts like NAFT (Belgium) and Fäaschtbänkler (Switzerland) – proving they’re just as comfortable in front of thousands as they are in more intimate settings. In 2024, they were awarded the Luxembourgish Music Prize, a recognition of their creativity and impact on the national music scene. That same year, they pulled off their biggest project yet: Hunneg-Strëpp & Friends Vol. 2 at Kulturfabrik – a sold-out show that brought together friends and guest artists for a one-night-only celebration of collaboration, community, and the band’s unique ability to bridge genres and generations.
